Luke Hanna, Embody Saunas business owner

Born and raised in Pito-One, Wellington, I've always drawn inspiration from the natural world — the sea, the elements, the rhythms of the environment around us — and the power of movement to ground and heal.

Having spent years working as a professional mover and touring the world with different shows, I've gained a deep understanding of the power of the body and physicality. Being aware and present in our bodies helps us show up as better humans — more grounded, more open, more connected to the people and places around us.

Returning home to Pito-One, I've focused on creating spaces where people can reconnect — with themselves, with nature, and with each other. Embody Saunas carries that mission forward: a ritual of care and connection rooted in the natural world, and a place for community to gather, unwind, and belong.
